This Saturday, 26 of October, over 50 artists descend on Fortitude Valley in a celebration of fashion, art, food, music and entertainment for The Hidden Lanes Festival.  Filling The Lanes with music this October, as well as an array of trails and workshops including activities such as cookie decorating, cocktail making, festival braids, how to make dumplings and more, along with demonstrations and installations whilst being able to meet the maker behind the creations.

In addition to the abundance of live music, visitors to the lanes can immerse themselves in a multi-faceted range of experiences on offer as part of the festival’s discovery trails the fashion & beauty trail, the art & design trail, the heritage trail, the food & wine trail and the market trail.

Artists appearing at this year’s festival include Concrete Surfers, Dream Coast, James Rigby, Greaves, Nelipot, Greta Stanley, Cry Club and First Beige who will be bringing their distinct blend of soul, jazz and disco. This Brisbane six-piece band have spent 2019 writing and releasing brand new music including their latest cut ‘Desire’, and will bring a live show guaranteed to make you groove.

Music Industry College will present some of Brisbane’s best and brightest up-and-coming musicians at The Hidden Lanes Festival, including Bonsai, Georgia Dutton, Don’t Trip On The WireKrave, Mitch Salisbury, Selfish Sons and The Blockades. Pacific Avenue will also be dropping into The Lanes for MIC’s Youth Program.
