My favourite time of the day is sunrise. For years I’ve been up early and out running or walking Brisbane riverwalks where I’ve witnessed some absolutely breathtaking sunrises. So I thought I would share with you some of my favourite Brisbane city sunrise spots. In my opinion you can’t go past these locations to best capture a Brisbane sunrise.
Newstead House/Tenerrife Riverwalk
Story Bridge
Mt Coot-tha
Top of many peoples sunrise location list is Mt Coot-tha Lookout. Definitely worth the drive to the top of the mountain but remember to get there early as it’s a popular spot with locals and visitors.
South Bank Parklands
Capture the sunrise from South Bank Parklands and you are in for a treat. With the sun rising over Kangaroo Point Cliffs and then breaking into a golden glow over the Brisbane River and Streets Beach it’s definitely a beautiful location to start a new day.

Absolutely glorious pics and locations. I can not think of better but still nice is the sunrise from the Wellington Point Jetty. I have no pics though
