Celebrate spring with Brisbane Arcade’s fifth Spring Flower Show. This year’s Spring Fair theme will take visitors for a floral stroll down memory lane with spectacular floral homage to Spring Fairs complete with floral adorned carousel horses, a ferris wheel, cake displays, vintage bicycles and sweet delights.

A whimsical Spring Fair floral themed wonderland of carousel horses and a ferris wheel, cake displays, vintage bicycles overloaded in colourful blooms and sweet surprises will be some of the floral feature pieces making up this year’s week-long Brisbane Arcade Spring Flower Show from 1st to 7th September 2018.

Brisbane’s oldest and grandest shopping Arcade has been wowing crowds with its annual Spring Flower Show since 2014 and this year’s theme will take visitors for a floral stroll down memory lane by paying flower power homage to our fondest memories of Spring Fairs.

The Brisbane Arcade’s Spring Flower Show will be officially launched on Saturday, 1st September – the first day of Spring – with Brisbane Arcade Spring Collection – a spring fashion and jewellery runway show under the stars in the Queen Street Mall followed by a glamour cocktail party inside the beautiful Arcade amongst the Spring Fair flower show installations.

With a flower colour palette expected to span the full spectrum of the rainbow, this year’s Brisbane Arcade’s Spring Flower Show is expected to feature a variety of Orchids species Gerberas, Carnations, Daffodils, Iris, Lillies, Chrysanthemum, Stocks, Snapdragons and Gladioli with majority of these blooms sourced locally.

Brisbane Arcade Marketing Manager, Andra Bite says “Spring is a special time of year and who doesn’t love flowers and the opportunity to visit Brisbane’s most cherished heritage shopping arcade when it is blooming with giant floral installations.”

This year’s Spring Fair themed Brisbane Arcade Spring Show has for the third-year running been designed, created and produced by The Event Wranglers (Sally Bell and Susan Helyar) together with the FIG Flowers team including creative direction by Lynn and Peter Jacobsen.
