Parks Alive is a free event showcasing one of my favourite Brisbane parks, Roma Street Parkland.

Held over two days, the event is jam-packed with engaging and unique displays, family-friendly activities, guided Parkland tours, demonstrations by experts, horticulture workshops, live music and gourmet food.

With an exciting line-up of local and national talent including Costa Georgiadis, Jerry Coleby-Williams, Indira Naidoo, Cameron Matthews and a whole host of lifestyle and wellness experts – with special appearances by the knowledgeable Parkland staff.

The Parkland Explorer will be running from 10am to 3pm on both days of Parks Alive

Salute To The Sun Guided Yoga sessions with yogi Celia Roberts (9am to 9.45am daily)

The Edible Balcony with Indira Naidoo and Rethinking Waste with Coast Georgiadis

Successful Footpath Gardening with Jerry Coleby-Williams and Tiny Houses For Big Dreams with Lara Nobel.
