Recently I was invited to a progressive dinner with a selection of bloggers and media at Brisbane’s premier riverside dining precinct, Eagle Street Pier, located in Brisbane city, on the banks of the Brisbane River with fabulous views of the Story Bridge.

Eagle Street Pier is home to some of Brisbane’s best restaurants and our first stop of the night was one of my favourite Brisbane restaurants, Pony Dining. Here we enjoyed a welcome cocktail with the wonderful name ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ and canapés of live pacific oyster, smoked crème, trout roe, lemon, chive dressing and Beef tartare, smoked cream, celeriac and soft taco.

Our next gourmet destination was Aria Restaurant where we dined on plates of Tuna, honey bug, wasabi, black radish; Kingfish, sea urchin, parsley, kolrabi and Lamb, brussels sprout, onion, sherry.

My favourite meal of the night was without a doubt at Cha Cha Char where we were treated to Wagyu Beef Brisket Served with adobo glaze, pickled daikon, soybean paste & dipping sauces. This meal was absolutely DELICIOUS, so tender, flavoursome and without a doubt melt in your mouth deliciousness. Il Centro partnered with Cha Cha Char to serve an exquisite dessert that even Snow White would have fallen in love with.

Dessert was served with a bang at our final destination, 51st Street, the newest establishment to open at Eagle Street Pier, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

Make Eagle Street Pier your next dining out destination, I’m certain you won’t be disappointed,
