Traditionally a Christmas cake is baked 4-6 weeks before December 25 but not all of us enjoy baking and for those of us we can thankfully rely on the professionals.

Baking a Christmas cake to some is a family tradition that many bakers enjoy, a ritual started weeks in advance where the cake is baked, drenched in brandy, wrapped and stored ready for that special day in December.
