Whileaway Guides are a bespoke travel experience guide, a modern take on the traditional tourist brochure or travel guide. These fabulously fresh guides contain all the best bits of a destination – things to see, explore, eat, drink and places to stay and I am honoured to have been asked to be the Brisbane guru for Whileaway Guides.
The guides are the brainchild of Kitty Spry and Jessica Grinter and are ‘unbiased and impartial’ meaning no one has paid to be included. Places and experiences only make the cut if Kitty, Jess and now me (for Brisbane) have been, seen and loved the experience.
The areas within each guide are grouped by location and written in a story telling/itinerary style with an illustrative mud-map to help you navigate your way around. The guides are 10 folded pocket-sized pages full – easy to carry around, contain a calendar of events so you can plan your trip, contain fun, quirky facts that you didn’t know about the region, include a place to write notes of things to remember and cost less than $10 each.
With 33 Australian destinations from Far North Queensland to Brisbane to the Gold Coast, from Darwin to Launceston and Canberra to Perth. the guides without a doubt have Australia covered.
Not only are Whileaway Guides a fantastic travel experience pocket bible they can also be customised for a wedding, business event, product launch or any event really. You can order a customised cover so guests, colleagues or customers can use them to explore an area before or after a function or event.
