Over the weekend on my Instagram account I gave you a taste of what Noosa Alive is all about.  Just in case you didnt see my photos Noosa Alive is a magical 10 day festival of music, theatre, food and thought set in the magnificent Noosa Heads region.

Broadway on the Beach

The Queensland Session Orchestra will play Musicals of the 20th Century in a journey through the golden age of musical film and theatre in this one-off spectacular Cabaret performance on Noosa Heads Main Beach. Enjoy music from Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Gilbert and Sullivan and Porter.

Miss Hummingbird Lunch

Experience a runway performance, featuring luscious dancers exposing the adventures of Miss Hummingbird (Sunday Lucia) as she and friends invite you to join them on their fashionable adventures. A stunning production featuring a very special lunch designed by Celebrity Chef Matt Golinski.

Salsa by the Sea

A Salsa Dance Spectacular where Noosa Main Beach will come alive with Gustavo Cereijo’s 10 Piece Cuban Salsa Band, Chukale. Chukale is the benchmark for Latin American groove & beat and will team up with dance guru Israel Oritz, The Brazilian Dance Company – Latin Fire and The  Reverend Jackson to light up the evening in song and dance. This is an interactive Latin party of grand proportions with informal dance instruction by some of the greatest Salsa & Tango prodigies in the country.

Lady Beatle

Australian star of stage and screen and 2017 Noosa Alive Festival Ambassador, Naomi Price will star in her fabulous show, Lady Beatle. This play pays tribute to the music of the Beatles and centers around the women behind great songs such as Eleanor Rigby, Lady Madonna and Penny Lane.

Flying Down to Rio

Party with Martini Club 11, El Timbon and Dance Cuba playing tunes reminiscent of the Buena Vista Social Club and Gypsy Kings with congas, horns and all things Latin. The Reverend Jackson will be playing his hip hop to the beats of South America sounds. Entertainment from every angle including the limbo by Gustavo Cereijo, Churros and Churasco by Rocco Noosa and a smorgaboard of delights.
