Noosa Heads is as renowned for great places to eat as its magic beaches. With so many restaurants and cafes using quality, locally sourced produce you may feel a little overwhelmed when it comes to deciding where to eat.
When I was invited to Visit Noosa last year for the Noosa Alive festival I dined at some AMAZING restaurants, so I thought I would share with you where I ate. Here are my favourite Noosa dining destinations, places for you to try the next time you visit Noosa Heads.
Aromas Noosa
Aromas Noosa located on iconic Hastings Street looks like a fabulous French cafe with pavement dining and Parisienne inspired decor and food you won’t be disappointed. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and celebrated our first night in Noosa with dessert, you simply must try the madelines. Impeccable service by restaurant manager Simon was the finishing touch to a perfect first night meal.

Noosa Boathouse
Noosa Boathouse was THE best lunch venue from my weekend to Visit Noosa. Give me a great view and I’m happy lady but top that off with an incredible meal and I’m in heaven. Noosa Boathouse is sublime. I would thoroughly recommend dining at lunch to take in the magnificent views and I was told that enjoying a cocktail while watching the sunset is another magical time to visit. We shared an entree each and shared a main meal, all were a very generous serving size, and continuing with our sharing theme, we shared dessert. The chocolate and beetroot brownie with salted caramel ice cream – is a must try. Tip – leave the car at your staycation destination and catch the Noosa Ferry. Take in the views from the Noosa River and enjoy a drink at lunch without having to drive.
Noosa Boathouse – 194 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville. Telephone (07) 5440 5070
Rocco
Set amid Noosa’s world renowned Hastings Street, dine alfresco at Rocco to the sounds of classic music, lounge, jazz, show-tunes & cabaret. Sip a cocktail, enjoy a vintage wine or champagne and dine on contemporary Italian cuisine. We enjoyed a glass of wine and after our generous lunch decided to share an antipasto platter, a simple yet delicious meal.
Roco – 42 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads. Telephone (07) 5474 9600
Noosa Beach House by Peter Kuruvita
Sunday brunch is a Noosa institution and we chose to sit back, relax and enjoy brunch at Noosa Beach House by Peter Kuruvita. The white, airy interior complete with cane lounges and white cane hanging plants sits on the Hastings Street side of the Sofitel Hotel. Our brunch was amazing and served in the most incredible dishes.

Boardwalk Bistro
Location, location, location, Boardwalk Bistro on Hastings has it and more. With unbelievable views of Noosa Heads main beach, in fact the beach is so close you can touch the sand, we enjoyed delicious freshly squeezed juices and bacon and eggs served Noosa Heads style.

Massimo
No visit to Hastings Street at Noosa Heads is complete without an ice cream from Massimo Gelateria.
