Do you love roses? I do. To me they are the most romantic, classic and beautiful flower and of course they are known worldwide to symbolise love.

In Brisbane we can admire these romantic blooms at the beautiful New Farm Park rose gardens.

Located on the banks of the Brisbane River at New Farm, an inner city suburb of Brisbane, New Farm Park encompasses in its 15 hectares, the Brisbane Powerhouse and Jan Power’s Saturday Farmers Markets. The park was initially a farm and then a racecourse before being acquired by the Brisbane City Council in 1913.

The tradition of admiring the New Farm Park rose gardens has continued since 1954 when these elegant ladies of vintage Brisbane stopped to smell the roses.
