Food trucks are big news in Brisbane and a weekend doesn’t pass where there isn’t an event where you’ll find a food truck. Serving everything from burgers to bratwursts, pizza to pasta and desserts to donuts there is something for everyone.
The local food truck scene is rapidly expanding and gathering a strong and loyal following and it’s great to see vendors specialising in unique and creative food options that celebrate our cities cultural diversity.
It’s definitely worthwhile tracking down a food truck of two and tasting the food on offer, I found the hardest part of my food truck experience wasn’t deciding what to eat at each food truck stop but actually keeping track of where the truck was going to be on the weekend. My tip – keep an eye on social media for weekend locations.
