Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art, or GOMA, as it’s affectionately known, is celebrating her 10th birthday with a fabulous party titled ‘Sugar Spin: you, me, art and everything’ featuring over 250 contemporary works from brand new to some of the most popular exhibits from the last 10 years. Here’s a handful of the works on display that are my favourites.
The ‘Sugar Spin’ 10th birthday exhibition is full of fun and happiness just as a party should be and I had many ‘ahhhhh’ moments as I viewed some of my favourite exhibits from past years. GOMA is a place for everyone, a place where you can admire, be inspired, mesmerized and moved. Go ga ga over GOMA before the ‘Sugar Spin’ exhibition ends on 17 April, 2017.
