If you dream of ice cream and funnel cakes, then your dreams are about to come true thanks to sweet artisans Double Good. Double Good are opening at the fabulous Eat Street Northshore this Friday with a selection of colourful, creative and happy desserts available exclusively in Brisbane.
Located in dessert lovers paradise, at Kombi Alley – Eat Street Northshore, the new desserts include Watermelon soft slice, perfect for the hot Brisbane summer months ahead. Watermelon Soft Slice takes its inspiration from international dessert icon Dominique Ansel (famous for ‘creating’ the Cronut) with a juicy wedge of Queensland watermelon overfilled with all-natural watermelon soft gelato.

Also making his debut this Friday is Black Elvis soft serve, this is a black sugar cone filled high with activated charcoal coconut soft serve.

The star of the new menu is American ‘state fair’ dessert item the Funnel Cake topped with a variety of bold, experimental soft serve flavours. Funnel Cakes (all $12) will be available in a range of flavour combinations and on Friday 18th August the official launch will take place of the all new ‘8 flavour soft serve machine’.

The first of its kind in Australia, this machine gives customers the option to include any or all of eight soft serve ice cream flavours piled high in a giant 500g serve above their funnel cake. Available flavours include – pistachio, butter pecan, birthday cake, dutch chocolate, strawberry cheesecake, blue raspberry, burnt orange and fairy floss.
