Le Diner en Blanc, the sophisticated spring soiree returned to a secret Brisbane location on Saturday night.
On Saturday night 3,500 foodies, fashionistas and cultural enthusiasts gathered at the historical Brisbane Showgrounds for the sixth edition of Le Dîner en Blanc – Brisbane.
Once again, this year’s event gave Brisbanites a chance to exhibit their fashion sense, showcase their classy taste for design and elegance and share their gastronomic delights.
World-renown for its photogenic moments, Saturday night’s Dîner en Blanc was no exception. I regard this event as my favorite for 2016 and Saturday night was more fabulous than last year, Diner en Blanc just gets better and better, year after year. Our table was beautifully styled by Moreton Hire and we were privileged to indulge in Moet Chandon.
Created in Paris nearly 30 years ago, this global phenomenon now takes place in close to 80 cities around the world such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Singapore, Mexico City, Johannesburg, Montreal, Hong Kong, Nairobi as well as nine cities in Australia.
Enjoy my photos from my magical Saturday night.
As the sunsets and the night sky arrives it provides the perfect backdrop to highlight tables decorated with fairy lights and paper lanterns. As well as making a spectacle for the obligatory sparklers and for the first time ever at Le Diner en Blanc Brisbane – fireworks.
Le Dîner en Blanc – Brisbane gratefully acknowledges BMW Brisbane and Moreton Hire as official local partners of the 2017 edition of Le Dîner en Blanc in Brisbane and Moët Chandon as a national partner.
Watch out for my Instagram and blog posts next year when I let you know that it’s time to register for the 2018 Le Diner en Blanc event, believe me it will be an event you will remember forever.
